This week we are delighted to relaunch a summer series of virtual Fellow's Talk, which will take place through Zoom every Wednesdays at 1:00 pm (EST).

These talks provide a forum where current JCB fellows share their work-in-progress and engage in dialogue with their cohort and with other members of the JCB and Brown University communities.

Our first speaker is Carolyn E. Roberts, historian of medicine and science at Yale University and JCB long-term fellow. Her talk is titled:

“Studying Absence: Archival Fragments and Interdisciplinary Methods in the History of Medicine in the Atlantic Slave Trade.”
