The John Carter Brown Library's reading room is open Monday through Thursday from 10 am - to 12:45 pm and from 2 pm to 4:45pm, and Friday from 10 am to 12:45 pm. Reservations are required for all research visits.

The JCB will be closed on the following dates:
Thanksgiving Break | The JCB will close on Wednesday, November 27 at 12:45 p.m. and will remain closed until Monday, December 2. |
Winter Break | The JCB will close on Friday, December 20 for Winter Break and will remain closed until Monday, January 13, 2025. |
