The John Carter Brown Library presents a lecture by Andrea Wulf titled "The Invention of Nature." Wulf will discuss how Alexander von Humboldt influenced several great minds throughout history and inspired talks about revolution, evolution, ecology and many other topics. Wulf is the author of a New York Times best-selling book that shares the name of the lecture. The event is co-sponsored by the Providence Athenaeum.
