The John Carter Brown Library is pleased to host the keynote lecture for the Scientiae Conference on October 25, 2024. The keynote will be delivered by Pablo F. Gómez (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and is titled "Bloody Numbers: Slave Trading and the Imagination of the Human Body in the Early Iberian Atlantic."
