Business and bibliophilia bring rare book dealers to the JCB

On the occasion of the annual Boston International Antiquarian Book Fair in early November 2018, the JCB had the pleasure of welcoming a number of rare book dealers from around the world for a library tour and show-and-tell of highlights from the collection. The visit brought together some of the many dealers who help the JCB’s collection grow. Our diverse guests included business partners and fellow bibliophiles, who were all impressed by the curators’ tales about the unique copy of the Dutch Vespucci, our Eliot Indian Bible in the Massachuset language, and the vibrant colors of the 1660 Doncker sea atlas.
