As your fellowship starts...

Brown ID

Before your fellowship starts, a Brown ID will be created for you. Remote fellows will receive a Brown ID Number; Residential fellows will receive a physical Brown ID Card.
Once you receive your Brown ID, please activate your ID here: https://myaccount.brown.edu/activate.
Activating your card will let you access e-resources at Brown, and as a courtesy from the Brown Library system, Residential fellows will also have limited access and borrowing privledges at the Brown University libraries.

After the ID is activated, you will be able to set up a Brown email account. Please keep that Brown email and password. You will need this email and password during the course of your fellowship.  It is recommended that you forward your Brwon emails to another account that you check regularly.

Stipends

You will receive your stipend in one (if two months) or more payments. Fellows must be aware that they may have to wait up to 4-6 weeks after arriving in Providence for stipend payments and plan their travel accordingly. In order to receive the fellowship stipend, all fellows must complete a supplier registration form, which you will receive via email just prior to the start of your fellowship, and international fellows must also complete a SPRINTAX Registration once they are in the US. Please do so and notify Alyson Conroy (alyson_conroy@brown.edu) once completed.
