Chloe Ireton (Lecturer in the History of Iberia and the Iberian World 1500-1800, Department of History, University College London) will present her book Slavery and Freedom in Black Thought in the Early Spanish Atlantic (Cambridge University Press, 2024) as part of the series JCB Reads, a hybrid event opportunity for former fellows to share their recent book publications with the JCB community.

This installment of JCB Reads will be virtual, but we plan to host hybrid (both virtual and in-person) events in the coming months!
